 your precious IE is not #1 b/c it doesn't exist in linux, and most desktop linux users are so to escape ms anyway so even if ie was available, less than 1% would use it. opera is not number one b/c it is often excluded from the official repos, and very rearly comes on the default install.. this primarily because of its closed source nature. konqueror is just dog slow, epiphany lacks the flexibility (plugins) of firefox...but it uses the gecko engine anyway. dillo is uber minimalistic, links2 is curses based so not very popular either... you get the picture. |
