Im planning on upgrading the RAM to 2GB through Newegg. Bought the Alienware Odyssey backpack with a superman mouse at Newegg for a total of $100.46 - $12.99 mail in rebate. Cheaper than the backpack alone if I bought it from Alienware. Also got $99 off the shipping from Alienware...was pretty cool.

Anyways I just cant wait to get.

Finally in phase 5...production. The estimated ship date is the 8th so hopefully I get it anytime next week. Just received the superman mouse and the alienware odyssey backpack which was purchased from newegg today. All I need now is the laptop itself.

After 6 days..still in phase8. It zipped through phase 1 to 8 but now stuck there. Is this common to stay on phase 8 this long?

You never know how long you'll stay in a given phase ... but looks like you're getting close!

Well I hope I'm getting close. The estimated ship date was the 8th so I emailed them and the reponse back that I received was that since the Superman Edition is a limited edition and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity by Nelson Gonzalez, once he signs it they'll ship it.
