Have had a 600X for about 4 years. About 3 years ago, TrackPoint lost control of cursor. Cursor would zip all over the screen with minimal control. I fixed it by getting an external mouse. External mouse worked fine and then the TrackPoint just started to work again. Haven't used the external mouse for a couple of years now. The other day, all of a sudden, the TrackPoint went out of control again. I let it sit for a couple of days-nothing happened. Tried the external mouse again, the connection seems a little loose so the mouse doesn't work very well.
Anyone else had this problem with the TrackPoint? I've tried messing with Configuration, but nothing seems to get it back in control.
