Are you after the actual time from order placement to delivery?
Which usually runs 4-6 days in Europe and 6-10 days stateside.
If you are after the actual time it takes to get a system through the factory from order download to the unit being loaded on a truck at the factory this averages @8 hrs .
From the time your order is released to production it enters the kitting phase which takes @ 5 mins for all parts to be picked and placed in a tote. This tote then enters a build cell where the average time to build a notebook is @ 5-6 mins with a further 4 mins in quick test before the operator releases the system to extended test/Software download.
The E.T phase and software download takes an average of 70/80 mins.
Assuming the system passes E.T it then moves into Final Quality Audit where a full cosmetic check is performed and the laptop is bagged before being released to Boxing where the unit is boxed and labelled prior to being loaded on a truck and shipped to the customer.
