Eurocom has this on there website. Its there newest computer that is going into testing. I have emailed eurocom at a realese date. I will Post more as I get some hands on information.

Description: Next generation of 64-bit Mobile Workstations with 16x PCI-Express video architecture, Serial ATA support (RAID 0, 1), ExpressCard slot and IEEE1394b (FireWire-800) port. Fully upgradable 256MB DDR2 video graphics with HDTV output. EUROCOM Phantom system alleviates the limitations and bottlenecks of the traditional notebook or PC - opening a wealth of possibilities for 2D and 3D designers, video and audio producers, scientists, engineers, reaserchers, game developers and players. The industry fastest frontside bus, and advanced system controller and high-speed, high-capacity memry makes EUROCOM Phantom one of the fastest PCs ever built.

Base Specs:
Under development

That's the one I want, but...

Maybe it'll be out by Christmas? I don't know about those screens - specifically the availability. Hopefully, their production will increase (are they even shipping yet?).

That PCI-express video would be another hang-up on shipping time. I'll be interested to know if you get anything back from Eurocom that sounds even remotely plausible for ship dates. I imagine that Sager will also make a model with those specs (assuming Clevo is still supplying both companies).

I'll keep my fingers crossed until hl2 and d3 are out, then make the best decision I can.

Here's another source of info for A64 laptops:

and Eurocom's new laptop: The "Python" (which I am still hoping PCT will sell some better version of):

Hmmm, here's a simple hack. A "special" link that will always find the latest Eurocom model (until they change their site design). I do not condone in any way more malicious uses of this "hack":

Web developers, it's time we start thinking security, no?

... that link doesnt give anything.

Worked for me. It appears that their server side script allows URL parameters for the model ID's to be provided in SQL, and assuming their model ID's are ascending, that little query will always get you the latest one they entered in the database.

Hope they don't have anything sensitive on that server...

Back on topic, to have all that it claims this thing is gonna be genormus.

I am suprised that no one has posted a link to the specs of the Phantom in this thread yet. Here it is: http://www.eurocom.ca/support/all%20...m?model_id=123

Hmmm...the Eurocom pages containing all the current models and the future models are not that hard to find.

http://www.eurocom.ca/support/all%20...cfm?model_id=x

Where x is the model number. Here's a list of future models:
x=123 for Phantom D900T
126 for Python
127 for one of Phantom without any info
128 for the Voyage M120 without any info

I guess these are all the future models of Eurocom at this point. The link for checking the latest entry could really come in handy. That is, if Eurocom doesn't change their page structure. They have done so three times already in the last month. The pages we posted before for these new products have become dead links. I wonder, if Eurocom does not want people to see these pages, why do they keep them on the web??

If you want to see the full spec page, including a small photo, simply do the following:

1. On yahoo.com, perform a search on "eurocom phanton ati m24"

2. On first hit entitled "Eurocom Systems," click on the "Cached" link. This will link you to the full saved spec page.

3. If all else fails, I saved a copy of the old page as a PDF.

We can see the picture for the Phantom D900T just fine. Eurocom moved the page around a few times. But we were always able to track it down.

However, no one has a picture for the Python.

Videocards like the Radeon (desktop) 9800XT have what's called GDDR2 memory. It's not really DDR2 but is fast anyway. I think that's what Eurocom mean when they say the videocard of the Phantom will have DDR2 memory.
