Well, unfortunately the only think my tea leaves are consistantly good at is the morning thunder. So we'll just have to see what comes. With the official launch of the FX-53 the other day, things are moving. Have to see what happens on the 29th with the release of Socket 939. And then if AMD does really move everything to socket 939 in May as that will crank up production of 939 boards. Which would put the pressure on other component manufacturers to produce compatibles.
What concerns me is I haven't yet seen any serious talk about Socket 939 and PCI Express, all the boards I can find with 939 (see http://www.ocworkbench.com/2004/cebit2004/day1/p1.htm
) are PCI based. I am hoping to start seeing some AMD/939/PCIe combinations soon. It takes a couple, three or four months to get a mainboard up and into production so if CLEVO hasn't started yet, its not going to get anything out this summer. I wish you luck.
