700m lcd inverted colors

I have a 700m and the lcd has started to act up. It shows all the colors inverted now. I noticed that if I press on the top of the display, then the colors return back to normal. Has anyone else have this problem?
I can't figure out if the panel itself is broken, or if its the cable connecting to the lcd. The panel I have is the Samsung LTN121W-L01.

something very similar happened to my I8200....it was the video flex cable...I had to open up the little panel and re-seat it whenever it messed up; it didn't happen very often at first but in time(2 or more years later) it became more frequent and re-seating didn't work...thankfully it was still under warranty; called Dell and they replaced the lcd ....I had called them the first time it happened so the problem was on file with them...it is still working great at this time...
