Well I wrote the "note" because without hearing somebody's tone of voice and their facial expression its hard to tell what their intent is. I'm saying if I have a face like this "Oh I'm so sorry for spilling your drink over, I
apologize" your going to tell that I'm just BS'ing you and that I'm really pissed off. Now if I had a face like this and said "Oh I'm so sorry for spilling your drink over, I apologize" then you would know that I was really sincer, make sense

I purchased a PS2 and it died in less than 6 months. Swtiched to an Xbox and never looked back, it's been going strong since then.

Perhaps I was just unlucky.

The xbox is a marvelous machine opposing sony and they even established their online status before sony has... something sony now regrets... microsoft has not doing anything to me that makes me "hate" them, i just feel now their new xbox elite is a step back rather than a step forward... i dont think they realized how important hdmi would be when they released the xbox which is why they had to release another machine... i also think the large hard drive although is a good idea to store movies and probably PERFECT for college and highschool kids, will be useless when these people have DVR, Tivo and on demand to use too... cuz lets face it, the large hard drive is for people who either 1) keep every demo they ever downloaded on their xbox, and 2) people who download every movie and keep them on their xbox... something that in both cases is not very logical... the new price point for the elite is not very attractive either.. what they should have done was lowered the price for the core and premium and kept the elite at $399.. now THAT would be a good buy

they may do that, but if they did it now, they would really piss off people who just bought the normal thing. It's too early in the life cycle to aggressively price drop like that.

Besides, Sony isn't really offering any real competition at this point. The systems are seen as near equals technologically by most average gamers and 360 is cheaper (even fully upgraded).

There will be price cuts, but they will save those for when they have to use them.

Duke, This is a rumor, but I heard that later on the Elite is going to be 400 $ and the Core is going to be 250 $.

Yeah I kinda agree with you Duke, I think the Elite was a bad move too. Why? Well I just don't see the whole deal of HDMI. The people that own 360's and have 1080p tvs is a really small percentage of 360 ownes, and the price is too expensive. I wish they would've just brought out a 100 GB HD for 100 $, and just start shipping premiums with the 100 GB HD for no extra cost.

The 360 will do 1080P without HDMI and with component you don't have to worry about all the HDMI failures. I've had my cable box replaced twice and the guy said they replace them all the time because HDMI is so picky and fails way more often than it should.

I haven't hooked my Wii up to the internet because all of my internet ports are filled up. (3 PCs, and 360) I'm just wondering do Wii points work like Xbox live points? And the Wii online stuff is free, right? I'm saying when like if I buy Pokemon Battle Revelution (example because its going to be the first Wii online game), and I wanna play online, it doesn't cost anything like XBL right? Thx in advance
