Are you saying that Sony's first party games are better than MS' or are you saying that all of the PS3 exclusives are better than all of the 360 exclusives? They are two completely different things. I never got into Gears. I hated the whole 'super-buff-guys-with-cheesy-one-liners' deal. The story was pathetic. The stop and pop gameplay was fun but it was too short. The coop was the best. The multiplayer was horrible IMO. Everybody just uses the shotgun and fires crazy, or they just dive and chainsaw. In November I was mostly playing Rainbow Six Vegas. Still waiting for my 360...

the $100 price drop is today, that should improve sales by 5-10 units..

edit: official press release and announcement of a new 80 Gb model with a free game Motorstorm).

so now the 60 Gb model won't sell for jack, brilliant...

the graphics i think is what makes it.... and you're right abouit the "super buff guys"... so cliche in video games no a days... where have our MIT PHD graduates like Gorden gone?

Graphics whore My top 5 most anticipated games, can't wait to get some info on them @ E3! (in no specific order) Assassin's Creed GTA IV COD4 SMBB Mass Effect And I also can't wait for a ton of other games, here are the games I want announced (" ") God of War 3 Sly Cooper 4 New Age of Empire game but not in the sissy era, more like AOT2

wow dman's comments are so incredibly skewed its become less funny and more scary.

wtf are you talking about the 60Gb wont sell? its a $100 less than the 80 GB model which comes with motorstorm. that was teh whole point.

im sorry... did you forget about the core, 20Gb and 100Gb model of the xbox with a 33% failure rate versus the PS3's <1% failure rate?

and yet Sony took the previous $499 model off the market b/c it wasn't selling. (I don't believe that, probably just because they didn't want a $399 PS3 on the market) So they are going to sell a model with 20GB more space and a game, on a system it's apparently easy to swap HDs. This may work to their advantage more that I think, mainly b/c the buyer shock won't be quite as bad. Now they can get a system and be able to play games without having to spend another $60.

only PS3 games I want are Time Crisis (which are the real wii games for Adults, lol) and Metal Gear 4. Sadly I can honestly say that these days I'm playing metal gear games purely for their story more then anything else, as awful as that might sound.

and cuz t forces Microsoft to make a move on their price... $475 for a 360 w/ 100GB hard drive, and no HD player versus a $499 blu-ray/60 GB hard drive... its almost a no brainer

who would want an old model when you can wait a month and get 33% more storage and a game for only $100 more?

because the extra storage is USLESS unless you keep EVERY demo you download, buy EVERY PSN game and EVERY PSOne game. Im currently using less than 3% of my 60GB storage. The 80GB will be for on-demand and downloadale HD movies which arnt currently available. and no, your logic does not make sense as usual.
