HI

I just acquire an ACER 5672, I really like it, but I have some questions about it:

the GPU is a X1600 with 128M dedicated and underclock but the great problem is that it is a 64bits memory version.
it is posible to upgrade it in future?, can I do something about the lack or performance? 2808 in 3DMark2005 with 3 diferents drivers.

it came with windows Home, what really don´t bother me, but I want NTFS instead FAT32, but a I don´t want to reinstall all the system, I want to use the recovery disc or the recovery partition, it is posible?

it is posible to monitor the GPU temperature?

thanks!!

My stock Ferrari 4005 with a gig ram, x700 128 (256 hyper) vid card and single core 2.0ghz cpu just scored 2809 on 3dMark05. Do you have your video driver set to max performance on everything? I use the lastest ati catalyst vid drivers, all set to max. I'm not sure your system as spec'd _should_ be any faster than a stock 4005 ferrari considering the various differences.

yes I have it set to maximum performance, but the problema I think, is the video card memory, mine is 64 bits bandwidth and yours is 128 right?

All I've heard is that the x700 is a faster chip....interesting about memory bandwidth, yes I think mine is 128 but don't know about x1600...think I'll look that up. But, you've got a machine that seems to be as faster overall as my ferrari and you paid a lot LESS for it....doesn't sound like a bad deal to me
