ram and new video drivers question

1. will more ram improve fps or just help with the jerkiness of the game? and 2. can anyone recommend good tweaksrus.com drivers for the go 7900 GS cause i keep finding ones that dont work. thanks

BEST DRIVERS ARE FOUND HERE (and everything else for that matter)

if the game is jerky as it is low on RAM, yes it will help a lot....

well ive got 1 gig and i can max the settings in hl2 and CSS but it jerks a little so is it maxing out the ram?

So it isn't just any game. It's Halflife 2 and CSS.

More than likely it's your video card being maxed out, not your memory. If it was your memory or processor, it'd stutter at lower resolutions also.

more RAM will help though in these cases as its probably the system RAM that is struggling...
