Thanks!

I got the desk at OfficeMax a while back, but I haven't been able to find it since then. I work at Staples and we carry a similar desk by the same company that made the one I have. I like it better, as it doesn't have the 'digital dock' as they called it for your PC to sit in, and monitor to go on top of. I always hated that thing because I could never get at the back of my PC when I needed to. Here's a link to it.. I don't know if it will work or not.

If the link doesn't work, just search for Osullivan Diplomat

That's nothing.. I had been looking for a desk for a while, and I was eyeing the one that I got for a week or so, and then it went on sale and I jumped. Got it for $90 delivered to my house the next day.

Either way, it's a cheap desk and is well worth it. The only thing I'd say that's bad about it is if you leave a cup on it and condensation develops, the wood will swell and leave you with a bumpy ring. So make sure to use a coaster!

That desk is awesome, for that price it's incredible. I owe ya one for posting this. I've been looking for a good size corner desk on the cheap for months. Thanks for posting!

No problem. It definitely is an awesome desk, if you have somewhere to fit the monster. lol

LMAO, everyone is commenting on the desk instead of any of the computers pictured.

New desk/s!

Why wouldn't they?

$90 desk vs..

$2500 laptop
$2400 laptop
$300 laptop (Toshiba :
$1300 desktp
$800 monitor
$300 surround sound system
$250 + 17 hours camping in 25 degree weather Nintendo Wii

..The list goes on..

Anyway.

The desk is now in 3 pieces in the empty bedroom next to mine. Got rid of some of the stuff in those pictures (Toshiba L25, Dell E1705), and I'm now trying to get the most out of the space in my room. New pics!

Bought this desk at Ikea when I happened to be shopping with my parents for a new couch. I've had my eye on it for a while, but wasn't about to pay $120 for it. Saw it that day.. $60. No lie. 50% off all Jerkers and accessories. I bought an extra shelf (Chose to put it on the bottom because I originally had my HTPC set up on here, more on that later), but they didn't have the swivel shelves that bolt on to the stands, which sucks because they would have been 10 bucks each, but I got over it. Like I said before, I originally had my HTPC set up on here with the 24" Dell LCD with my wii and everything, but with that, the keyboard, external hard drive, logitech g15, mouse, etc on the desk it was way too cluttered, and I couldn't put my laptop on it, or do any work writing. That was a bad thing because I like to have a desk to put my laptop on, so that lasted about 2 weeks. I've been working on cleaning/rearranging my room for the past.. 4 hours. I think I've gotten it to the best setup I'm going to get, and I'm happy with it.

Here's what I've got for pics so far:

Yup. I've decided to turn this into my laptop workstation. All this desk for not so much laptop. It will be great. Totally uncluttered and neat (*cough* bullshit *cough*).

In 3.5 hours when Ikea opens I will be going to buy.. Yup.. Another desk. Something simpler, and less distracting than this one, for the HTPC set up. Pictures of that will come soon, as well as pictures of my whole room.
