Apple Mac Pro workstation

Thread Starter
Good day, all

I was wondering if you all could answer a question for me regarding the Apple Mac Pro workstation.

The new Mac Pros are running the Xeon (woolcrest) processors from Intel. Given the change in architecture, does anyone know, when running Windows, if one has to use video cards purchased from Apple, or can one run one's own preferred video card? I know that the Mac OS will only recognize the Apple video card, but would bootcamp/windows recognize a non-apple sold video card?

Thanks all!

From what I understand any standard PCI Express card installed in one of the second slots will be recognised and accessible by Windows and possibly by OS X.
