Yay! It's back!
Finally, it's back again. Wow, two weeks without my notebook. I think I'm in shock. I feel much better that it is ok and safe and sound at home again. I was getting tired of living with my old desktop again.So far all problems were fixed and no issues so far in analysis of fixed machine. I have re-installed Windows XP Pro, got the drivers right, and am still in the process of installing the rest of the software and games. Diskkeeper, McAfee v.7, BlackIce, Divx, Xvid, Ad-Aware 6.181, Spybot 1.2, Powerstrip, Adobe 6.0 reader, ScummV emulator (Lucus Arts games), Office 2k Pro, Far Cry, UT2004, BF1942 w/DC, and many others.
Currently installing UT 2004, and playing The Dig and Loom (got to love this emulator [ScummV], it let's me play my really old games).
The Dig rocks!
Report end of day one: Fixed, driver updates cool, hardware returned in great condition.
