I am dropping in a 2.0 in place of a 1.4 P-M. The heatisnk has a slivery material that looks like a shim maybe. I cleaned off the old thermal pad gunk so is this part of the pad that i also need to remove to expose the copper or is this a necessary shim i need to leave in place. i want to use arctic ceramique instead. Any advice?
