help me chosing !

hi there ppl !

im a 16 year old boy studding photography and filming ( ) ... anyway its like this

i need a laptop to my make my video and photography editing ... and there is so many brands and so many models im really confused what to choose

the program i will be using are photoshop with big files around 10/20 mg and video editing with adobe premier pro 1.5

i don't really know i i wanna go mac so pls help me decide !!!

any kind of sugestions are apreciated =)

Alright so you need a laptop.. let's see.

What's your price range?
Video editing and photoshopping arn't a major inconvenience for most midrange laptops nowadays if you're willing to spend around $1000.

Staples has this machine for the same price, plus a $200 rebate:

Honestly, for the money this is a great deal. 2GB memory, decent nvidia gpu, lightscribe drive, 120gb hd and a decent dual core cpu... it's not a core2 duo, but it's no slouch either.

The only other machine I might get over this is a macbook. You'll pay about $400 more for the macbook but... you'll get a faster cpu, half the memory, 40gb less hd space, thinner machine and support for macos, windows and linux.
