Rumors: Machook "THIN" - Page 2

how about a 10 or 11" model at about 3 pounds?

ive seen a 12" dell in person. i honestly could say i would NEVER buy anything smaller than 13". EVER.

10" is just tiny.

Hence to request for a 12"MBP not a MB. The later wouldn't make sense.
A 10" ultra portable MB maybe.

Yup, It would be great if they released a 12 inch Macbook Pro. I think they would relase it in summer along with Leopard.

I have the Dell Latitude 420 12.1" (supplied by work). I have to say, I love it for the mobility factor. The screen is plenty big enough for email and general web surfing. I wouldn't want it as my primary laptop, but for these applications it's hard to beat. I'd buy an Apple ultraportable in a heartbeat ... as soon as (if) it's ever announced, I'm on it!

While I don't really care about 'thin' as the current lineup is plenty thin enough for me, a 12-13" MBP would be good for me. The screen real estate is not as big a deal as I think I will be switching to using my laptop as a desktop on the road, setting it on a desk and hooking it up to an external monitor. More important to me would be the feature set, if they can match the feature set(Not integrated graphics, FW800, etc) of the MBP I would likely be sold on it as 17" is not portable, 15" is but I think I owuld like to try a smaller for my next machine.

Seablade

Doing has every now and then pop in.

the rumored specs and the rumored dimensions of this thing are ludicrous for the type of thermals hardware puts out right now... they'd have to break some laws of physics to create a working notebook like that. Maybe awhile longer down the road.
