Hey Jascias,
Its great to see that you got you system. A few questions:
1-What are the hinges made out of, metal / plastic? Any danger of them cracking?
2-Its not painted right? If not, it looks great ( I think I'll save money on that)
3-Do you have the ability to turn off one of the cards, if you wanted to?
4-I noticed you got the X2 TL-56 processor. Any idea if there will be a faster one? (Iknow there is the TL-60 which is in short supply).
5-How hot does it get? Are the fans always on? (The guy over at killernotebooks has done some amazing mods on the heat sinks in the lappys he sells. I am just thinking---mmmm heat is the death of these machinces. The cooler the better.
Thanks,
Congrats and enjoy
Oh, on the poster on your wall of spidey and wolverine-IMHO spidey takes out wolverine without breaking a sweat.lol

Hey Smoky (You do know that shouldn't smoke right?
)1-I was worried about that too. They seem to be heavy duty plastic with a metal pin. I have had 5 notebooks and this one has the best out of those. I don't see a danger of cracking.
2-Nope not painted.
3-Yup, sure can
4-Still no idea. To be honest (besides benchmarks) I can't tell the difference in real world performance, between my core 2 duo Dell and this. They both are faster then my old Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz. For the GPU tho, Game wise (oh man!) Runs everything! First time that I ever played F.E.A.R on everything max without so much as a studder.

5-Its get warm on the right side by the number pad, but nowhere near the heat my Old Gateway Pentium 4 notebook got. Surprisingly the notebook is pretty quiet, not loud at all. You will hear the fans when your gaming but they are not so loud that their annoying. My cpu temp as I type this is 45 'C. The 5950 was always 57 'C.
6-Spidey vs Wolverine. Spidey wins! No disagreement there. I agree.
