Dell Inspiron E1705 Ram

Hello,
I'm thinking of buying the Inspiron E1705 snd have a question
someone might be able to help me with? Dell is now offering
free 2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz.
Question, is the 2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM
at 667MHz upgrade worth the money, even if I upgrade
later at newegg for a lower price then Dell. Is the
difference really that noticeable. Also, is the 2GB ram
offered with the HP DV 9000t 533MHz or 667MHz?

If your getting Vista, you might be able to get satisfactory performance with 1GB stock RAM and buying a ReadyBoost certified (research flash speed and size requirements for Vista) 2 or 4GB flash card, such as a SD card.
