I currently have two laptops. Since recently, my Thinkpad T60 is carrying the load the vast majority of the time, this system has been relegated to routine tasks such as checking checking emails, posting on weblogs and such. So, it doesn't seem that I can justify keeping a laptop with such specs any more:

And this thing weighs a little over 6 lb, so pretty light for the DTR category. I'm currently triple booting with WinXP, Vista RC1, and the Kubuntu flavor of Linux. All of these have no issues with drivers, including having gotten wireless to work under linux.

Question for anyone who has a PayPal premier account or knows:
What types of benefits and pitfalls there are for this type of account? Could I revert to a free account at a later date with PP? LMK, it would be most appreciated.
References:
Most of my references are in Beerology under the name "HardBall", including some pretty substantial deals.
I also have a couple of references in Heatware under "HardBall", I've only started using it recently.
I would be willing to ship first, if someone here has a very substantial amount of references in Beer and Heat.

Partial Trade for another laptop:
As I said, I do use this laptop currntly for some routine tasks on the go, and I would probably need a secondary laptop; preferably in the $200-400 value range. The only requirements that I would have for such are:
So if you have an older laptop and would like to trade up for a powerful modern machine that is more than capable to run all the features of Vista, or a great mobile platform for Linux, here is your chance. The trade would be my system for yours + some amount of cash depending the system that you are trading.
Other possible trades:
I would also consider items such as the following in trades:

Asking Price:
- If someone would like to buy it outright, I'm asking $950 shipped. I would accept MO or PayPal, or personal chack (in that case I would need time to clear the bank). In case if you want to pay through PP, I may have to upgrade my PayPal account to premier membership.
- I can also do a more stripped down specs for $750; with 1GB of RAM (2 X 512) and without the extra modular bay devices (modular bay battery and CDROM).

As I said, I do use this laptop currntly for some routine tasks on the go, and I would probably need a secondary laptop; preferably in the $200-400 value range. The only requirements that I would have for such are:
- (1). Must be working and has no issues
- (2). Need to have min of SXGA(1280X1024) screen OR be an ultraportable (12" or so in diagonal); but I would listen to other offers if the right deal comes along.

Other possible trades:
I would also consider items such as the following in trades:
- 750W+ PSU, EPS 12V
- High resolution LCD's, UXGA or WUXGA
- inexpensive AM2 motherboard
- DDR2 SDRAM 1GB or larger capaicty DIMMs
- DVDROM and/or DVDRW with black faceplate
- 1-2 recent SATA HDD 250GB 7200rpm or larger
- a 10k rpm SATA drive
- may add other things later
