Shazza plays it. I can't remember if it was the xbox 360 or PC version... She had positive things to say about it though. Shazza?

Hi guys. I'm playing R6V on the 360. I really like it. I had some time off from it, but played through a couple more levels this weekend. I'm sure it's good on the m9700 as well. I've only played the single player so far ... multiplayer is supposed to be good too.

I've played the multi on the 360 with some of my friends. I don't personally own a 360. Rainbow 6 is really sweet.

I went to best buy last weekend to pick it up for my pc but they did not have any in stock. I will probably go back again this weekend and then I will give an update on how it plays. I wonder if it is compatible with the 360 windows controller that I purchased a while back for when I start playing some racing games. If it is then I think the game will be very good indeed given the fact that our m9700's are graphically superior to next gen consoles.

Been playing since this past weekend and love it! I can only get the game to run in 800x600 with my Geforce Go 6800 but it runs smooth and the gameplay is fun. There are tons of tweaks and a widescreen fix but i just ran it straight out of the box with no problems. Remember its an Ubisoft title so expect a half finished game and lots of patches but if you want to kill some terrst and save the world this game is it!

mouse and keyboard for first person shooters compared to using an xbox controller is like bringing a nuke to a twig fight.

You're probably right, but I find I enjoy shooters more on the 360. Probably just because I've played mostly RPGs on my PC.

I tend to prefer mouse/keyboard for shooters, and have always assumed that it was the superior interface for those types of games, but I think it's more of training your brain to a particular interface. My friend's little brother was on one of those Halo national teams where they fly around and compete. They were supposedly one of the better teams and I saw him do some crazy things with that controller. He could probably beat most pc gamers with that thing. I, on the other hand, am about as dyslexic as they come when I try to play a fps with xbox. The last time I tried I ended up motion sick and cramps in my hand. To each his/her own though!
