One final thing needed in my move from XP to Ubuntu...

So i am trying to get myself away from Windows XP and use linux exclusively, but i need some program that i do not seem to find a linux alternative. Its Microsoft OneNote, i use it daily for most of the day because i am a student and it is so much easier to take notes in OneNote than in word or the Oo document editor.

Can i use like wine or somthing to install it under my Ubunto installation? I dont really care if it runs slowish, just as long as it is stable. I finally got my wifi stuff figured out and now that is the last little thing that i need, well that and testing the power management to see how it compares to the Power4Gear from Asus under windows.

So if anyone could point me in the right direction here that would be great! Thanks in advance!!!

Im also trying to get my girlfriend to give up windows for a month to see if she like Ubuntu better but she just got a new Dell D420 and dosnt want to mess with it since she just got with it yesterday.

Are you using the collaborative features to share data with others, or just using it for a single user?

im just using it as a single user, it makes bulleting and what not so much better than word, plus the ability to record lectures, and implant PDF's etc into the actual lecture notes is a life saver for me because i loose stuff all the time, that is why i type my notes... lol... And if it matters im using the '03 version of OneNote.

Just so you know, to install:

sudo apt-get install tomboy
The right click on the gnome panel and choose 'Add to Panel'. It should be in there somewhere.
