Has anyone been able to enable Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) on their Toshiba notebook / laptop? I've got a P105-S9722 that does have Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) but when attempting to install a 64-bit OS (i.e. Vista x64) within VMware I get an error / warning message that says that my processor supports Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) but I need to turn it on in the system bios settings. I've searched through the default bios and the virtual bios but didn't see any way to enable Intel Virtualization Technology (VT). I apologize for the long post, and I hope someone else can shed some light on this subject. Thanks in advance!
Update *01-23-2007* I just found out that you CANNOT install a 64-bit guest OS on a 32-bit host. So in my situation since only the 32-bit Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP2 came with my computer, I will be unable to install a Virtual Machine on my notebook with a 64-bit version of Microsoft Vista Ultimate. Which leads me to the decision of doing a fresh install of a 64-bit Microsoft Windows XP to give me more flexibility in experimenting with a larger selection of other OS's.
