Any info from our trusted Asus sellers on the U1?

After seeing the engadget little snipet on the Asus U1 i really want to find out more information, and from what i can tell it will be released mid Februrary, does this include the US? And does anyone know when they will have it in stock? Or is the middle of January to early to tell?

Asus has been known to announce some of their spotlight models several months before they're commercially available. I'm thinking April or May at the earliest.

Spotdog14, there's a member in another forum who actually owns the U1 and has many pictures of it, you can check out the link here

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! i must have it! lol, my girlfriend and i have this thing where if one gets a new laptop the other one has to. I use to have an old Gateway laptop, so she got an Averatech laptop, then i got an alienware DTR then she got a Thinkpad, then i got my Asus S5n, then she just got a Dell D420, and now i guess im going to have to get the U1.

I must have it! hahah i havent been this excited about a laptop since my S5n. lol.

Thank you guys for the info... I wont look for it on the US market till April or May.
