Thought you needed 667 if you wanted to go 64bit?

No. Why would Dell sell 64-bit laptops with 533Mhz RAM then? They would get a *lot* of complaints. However, I *have* heard of some cheap 533MHz chips (bought on newegg or similar) that *did* have problems with the Core 2 Duos. If you buy from Dell, or from the larger RAM manufacturers, you shouldn't have a problem, I think. Edit: That *might* also have been an early BIOS issue, that has now been fixed..
