Hi, lately my inspiron 6000 has been giving me this problem, and im not sure whats causing it. The computer runs fun plugged into the AC adapter, and when i unplug it it still runs fine on battery, but when i restart on battery or if i shut it down and attempt to turn it back on, the lights go on and i just have a blank screen doesnt post or anything. Also it seems like the screen isnt even on. The computer stays on as well like this till i push the power button and it goes off and i hook it up to the adapter again. Any ideas as to the culprit for this? needless to say im out of warranty.
