Aviator CX7 onboard microphone.

Anybody out there using the aviator cx7 got their built in mic to work?
I have it setup with 5.1 speakers using realtek's drivers, so the microphone port is taken up. My only options are to buy a usb one, or use the built in one.
I see that its not disabled through the device manager, and when I go to Sound Properties in control panel, it tries the test, I speak, and no sound is recorded.

Hypersonic's email tech won't respond, I sent 3 emails over the course of the past 4 days. I called them, but their phone seems to be disconnected. 1.866.687.3372 [tech support phone].

and I have yet to write a review... heh

I don't know if you ever had success or not, but I finally had a need to record something so I fished around.

I went in to control panel, sounds and audio devices and hit the Audio tab. In the sound recording box select the Realtek HD Audio input as your default device. Select volume, check the select box in Mic Volume, and jack it all the way up.

I was then able to record using the onboard mic in several programs including the Bison Cam. I got my audio, but it was still quite low volume. Next time I will fool with the settings more and figure out how to get decent volume.
