802.11 N Internal Card - Page 2

Thx; any idea whether the card will physically fit in an M70/Latitude D810?
I'm a bit confused about the miniPCI cards & the "miniPCI-E" cards.
If you're uncertain, exact dimensions of your card would help, so I'll compare the physical size & connector pins to my TrueMobile 1450.

Mini PCI and mini PCI-E are two different formats. Mini-PCI won't fit in a Mini-PCI-E slot and vicey versy. Just different formats. Kinda like PCMCIA and cardbus.

Got it; so - is the wireless card inside an Inspiron 1501 labelled as a Truemobile 1490 different from a Truemobile 1490 available in the M70?

I really don't much about its capabilites, but if you wanted to you could use dells website and pick your system, and see if they sell the N wireless card with it.
