Yeah same here LiquidIce. If I knew how to paint it I'd paint all my laptops and desktops as well. I'm really enjoying this laptop and just purchased 2gb of memory and a laptop cooler for it. The paint job looks so much better in person it's so nice.

If you're serious about getting them painted nicely check out smoothcreations.com

DukeFrukem got his laptop painted by them.

I bet, that machine would be a definite eye catcher!

It sure is an eye catcher E-Dirt. I've been getting mixed reviews from my fellow classmates but the ladies are digging it. So I'm not complaining.

Ahh, yes... The ladies...

My woman could care less about computers... LOL, I forget sometimes...

Like any kind of automative wax? Also the laptop came with a pillowcase-like cloth to put in (for scratch protection I guess) so I'll be using that as well as the alienware odyssey backpack.

Thanks Bear_Head. I sure am enjoying it. It's nice to hear compliments on this board unlike at other forums where not all but certain people bash Alienware and tell me to send the system back since it'll die out within a year or so do to heating issues.

I use Meguiar's all-in-one solution. I use the 3 step on my car, but for a lappy that's a little extensive. I just do the palm rests so the paint doesn't get rubbed off as bad. I wasn't sure if the lappy came with a screen cloth, but I had to make one for myself after the lid rubbed off some of the paint.
