cooling fans

sometimes when i start up my 5660, the fanc on the HS go nuts!...the blast for like 15 seconds!. this is right when the system comes on, they just shoot cold air out the vent..

this isnt normal operating fan speeds either, i mean there blasting. anyone know a solution to this mysteriousw problem?

I don't have my 5660 yet, but my Dell and Toshibas do the same. Don't know why, but it seems normal. The fans go on maximum power, but not as long as yours, maybe only 4 seconds.

Ask Sager tech support just to make sure and please tell us what they say.

Maybe its part of notebook POST and its checking the fan.
BTW, I'm guessing.

im gonna have sager gimme a call back, just gotta get arround to getting my serial # off the bottom, i use my 5660 all the time as a second desktop....2 comps on the net at once, its nice...
