Any cards to install on My laptop to just have S-Video Output

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
I got some videos on my laptop that I would like to watch em on my T.V., but my laptop doesn't have a S-Video output, and I was wondering if there was a card component (I was hoping something cheap, not a whole new videocard) to have s-video output on my laptop. If there is one, could I get the name of the card so I can try to find one online?

-Thanks.

My wife's school purchased a bunch of these for every classroom. Dandy little device uses the vga or dvi output and transformes it to svideo or composite. They have certain models for less than a hundred bucks.

I have a little adapter that I used a couple times.

VGA -> RCA/S-Video

I got it on ebay for a few bucks. I don't use it any more. If you want it, PM me and its yours.

You may want to try and find out if this actually works or not.

Not all laptops have SVideo capability in their graphics card, even with the converter.
