MacBook Pro Restore DVD's

Thread Starter
I have a 15" MacBook Pro and my hard drive recently crashed. I have purchased a new hard drive but have misplaced my restore DVD's and all other documents that came with my MacBook Pro. I also own a PowerBook G4, (for many years now), and have never had a problem with it - in fact, I'm using it now until I can get my MacBook Pro working again. I didn't expect to have a problem with this one so soon... It's likely not Apple's fault and I blame Fujitsu for a faulty drive.

Anyways, I have been trying to download the restore DVD's online for days now and the torrents are stuck at 84.3% for disc one and 99.9% for disc two. I have given up on these torrents and it almost brings tears to my eyes to see my poor MacBook Pro sitting here dying to be used... I am writing this in hopes that a fellow MacBook Pro user on these forums is willing to help me. I am offering to pay someone if they could make me a copy of their MacBook Pro restore DVD's and mail them to me. Can anyone help me???

Instead of paying someone to do it for you contact Apple and have them send you new discs.

I suppose I could contact Apple, but without my proof of purchase they likely won't supply them.
