Advice on sending Macbook to factory?

Well, I"m going to be sending my Macbook back to the manufacturer because of the following problems:

-case is separating (keyboard area from chassis)
-battery consistantly goes unrecognized when in the machine
-white splotches at certain angles of looking at the screen
-already had to replace a HD
-dead pixels
-a problem with the CD drive that required me to take it apart

and now, the reason I'm not able to use the keyboard, which occured at random just today:

-10, yes TEN of my keys no longer work. the U, I, J, K, M, Comma, Quotation mark, semi-colon, 8 and 7 keys all no longer work.

I have no idea why that particular area went out (because it goes down in an ordered fashion) but I had to go out and buy a PS/2- USB adapter so I could do my freaking homework.

I'm sorry Mac folks, but my next laptop is going to be PC.

Has anyone had any of these issues with their computer or have any insite into what might have caused them?

And back to my original reason for the thread: What would be the best and cheapest way of sending this machine to the factory and should I call them first or just send it in? I just want them to fix the problem. I don't care how, so long as it is of no expense to me as I have had this computer since August of 06 and have had all of these issues.

why would u send it to the factory if u can go to a store? assuming they would do the necessary work or issue a new one from the factory, why not see if u can do this at the store? u'd potentially have a new notebook ASAP and u could try it out or just sell it on ebay.

I've been wrestling with this and am just trying to figure out how I would manage to make the time to simply get to the store as it is quite a drive from my current location and I'm pretty busy with that whole college thing.

well, call apple before shipping it. i suggest the store only because i think it would be more likely that they might simply give u an exchange, particularly with your list of issues some of which u could actually show to them.
