aight if i have an image thats taller than it is wider and i want it to b my background and still be in proportions, how can i do that? cause when i "center" the image it makes it stretch outside the screens limits. help please. thanks

Enlarge/reduce and edit it in Photoshop or some other package?

Download Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com

Its a VERY good free image editing software package. It will let you resize images.

Just resize the picture so that the height = the resolution of the screen.
