World of Warcraft on any HP's?

Do you guys know of any newer HP's that can play WOW decently? I need to buy one by Thursday night because I am going out of state for a few months. I will probably have to purchase this from some retailer. My cost that i am aiming for is less then 1000 dollars. This is the highest performing game that will be played on it, so I need it to just make this playable.
Thanks for the help.

for 1150, i got a Hp dv6***cl from costco, adn it plays wow at a solid 30 fps with no hiccups. They also have a 180 day return policy, so when you return to the country, you can take it back, as long as you have all the original components, boxs, reciept. I am loving mine, and found the build quality to eb better than teh dv9***t i had got from there. You will definately need to get dedicated graphics, and not the 6150 nvidia. I also play CS at 60fps.

Overall, I have no complaints other than once in awhile the keyboard wont register a key stroke for some reason, but its so infrequent that its no big deal.

I hope this helps. But i dont think youll find one to play decent at under 1000. but i might be wrong.

I don't think so, you can play WoW pretty well on recent integrated cards.

yeah, but for $1000, and probably some portability, as hes going out of country, hes prolly not looking at a 17". IF i only get 30fps on a dedicated, hes not going to get decent FPS on integrated unless he really dials down the settings. He also mentioned making it playable, adn thats a consideration i took into account.

What about Hp dv6226US? Would this work?

Yeah wow doesnt need the most powerful gpu in the world to play, like shepoch said, you can play it just fine on recent ati/nvidia integrated gpus.

i realize its not the most demanding game, but on my 7400, im gettign 30fps. A step down to integrated will drop that lower than 30. I put the threshhold for acceptable gaming as atleast 30fps adn medium detail/graphic settings. I dont believe in my opinion that a integrated would be able to hit that mark. If you can prove to me that it will, fine. But its my opinion.

Maybe a gma 950 of that sort of stuff wont run wow, but the new ati xpress 11xx and the nvidia 61xxx series will definitely. They are much much much better than other integrated chips. Nobody has to prove anything to you, u can believe what you want, but I have played wow at my laptops native res (1280*800) w/ medium settings and didnt experience any lag. Sure I never checked the fps, and never got into huge fights/areas with lots of action, but just walking around in the beginning town and fighting wolves went smooth as butter. Never got past that, so maybe in later more intense areas it will stutter.
