Anyone know anything about cameras? (Canon A85)

So i have a Canon PowerShot A85 that is a 5 MP camera, and i love it. My question now is that ill be going to Europe this summer and want to get a different lens for it. According to Canon's website i can get three different lenses for it:

Wide Converter WC-DC52
Tele Converter TC-DC52
52mm Close-up Lens 250D

Conversion Lens Adapter LA-DC52C (from what i understand you need this to use any of the other lenses)

Now, what are they for, now i know what the telephoto lens is, it increases the optical zoom possible. But what do the others do?

And if you look at that page you will notice that i can get an underwater case for it, that is one of the reasons i got this, im really excited to get it, i just ordered it!!!

Those aren't actually lenses. The lens on the A85 isn't something you can change out like on an SLR or DSLR.
All these things are going to do is create optical illusions to fool the lens into thinking it's doing something it actually isn't. Of course the pictures will turn out looking like they were taken with a telephoto, wide angle, macro lens, but I'd imagine the quality will be degraded. Telephoto lenses tend to produce fuzzy images, especially if you don't use a tripod. Most people don't have steady enough hands and I sure as hell don't. I'm not a big fan of wide angle lenses as they tend to distort the image and I've seen panorama software that does a much better job. My camera does macro (close up), but it's a feature I've never used. I used to use it when I was a photographer though, usually when I needed to take very close range shots of damaged parts. Problem is you need a flash that is detachable and most of the non SLR/DSLR cameras don't have a hot shoe..

awesome, thanks for the info! i guess ill just stick with my only Canon accessory being my underwater case. Im really excited about using it this summer. Im also going to purchase a cheap tri-pod to take with me so i can do some sweet night traffic shots in Europe.
