ok, so I know the problem that the "new" intel wireless drivers cause hc control to malfunction has been around for a while, but I still cant find a solution. I dont remember what I did now, but the error message does not show up any more, however, the fn keys still dont work (except for brightness and sleep mode).
some people have suggested installing the old intel drivers, but i cannot find those as the links from the old threads no longer work.
others have suggested not using intel at all, however, if i uninstall the intel drivers, than my wireless is not longer recognized, b/c i need some kinda drivers for it.
as well, everything worked fine when i first had the computer, so i thought using the drivers disk that came with to get the old drivers, but that does not seem to help.
so, should i try uninstalling the hc control and wireless and installing them again, again? if so, how should i go about it?
thanks.
