7800 gtx in i9300 was warranty covered! - Page 2

well also FYI no matter how bad dell service is, it's bussiness model i by far better than the one of other companies. I cannot talk about the us service but if you buy an HP, gateway, sony or Mac if you suffer from a failure you'll have to take it back to the retailer, but with dell you get on site service, it's like that i most parts of latin america, and europe. My Video card blew up on saturday i called on monday and it will be replaced in a few hours now. Maybe the service reps now nothing at all, we'll at least a lot of them don't but the service isn't that bad. It's just that sometimmes we have to deal with a complete moron on the callcenter. Just my 2 c$

They told me that the card, even though purchased through dell spare parts, is considered a purchase from a third party. Dell's customer service is horrible, the warranty is horrible. I can't wait until i never have to deal with this company again. p.s. this is the second lemon i bought from them.
Whoever told you that is speaking a load of bull. By the warranty info on their website it is covered. Go to - http://www.dell.com/content/topics/g...=19&l=en&s=dhs and quote this if it needs replacing. And for the person who got a 7950 gtx and a 9400. Congrats! And how did you manage that?

It's funny how some here really bash Dells warranty and Service, but I delt with Toshiba, Acer, IBM, Sony, Panasonic, among some others and none of them come close to Dell except for IBM....which cost more $$$.

Dells Complete Care is the best in the industry.
I never had a [roblem with Dell Canada's Service
The few occasions I had to get one of my latops fixed it was
done quickly and 100 % correct.

IMO There is no other laptop out there who will match the CC warranty coverage that dell offers, and I had service from other venders try to tell me things like a cracked motherboard in a laptop is my fault and not covered under warranty.

Last I never seen another Vender offer a New laptop in exhange for defective unit, they always repaired the old laptop pver and over.

Granted I understand that some of you have had problems with talking to people on the phone with the overseas support, but I also know that if you scream loud and long enough Dell will usually come through for you.

last..Complete Care on the warranty makes a difference with the level of support, I always purchased this option with every laptop I bought from Dell. and I have never regretted it.

I am extremely happy with Complete Care too. It is exactly that - they take complete care of you. I have yet to hear of a horror story with Dell warranties (if you don't take into consideration the ineptitude and lack of language of some of their people) but you always get hooked up at the end. Buying a $400 warranty on your new Dell system is like paying up front for a brand new laptop or two. Accidental damage protection? Just 'drop' that sonofabitch a year before warranty ends and get a new one that rocks. If you feel that's wrong (because it is) just let your little sister use it while drinking cranberry juice and she's standing on one leg on a slippery floor full of angry kittens running after each other.

Yea; I love people who bash Dell too.

Idiots.
