no its just we appreciate the people who work/play hard for us. and reward them when they deserve it. doug was dedicated, wanted to be a starting catcher, but understood his role and never complained... just helped us win a championship...

Standing Os for - Dave Rovers, Kevin Millar, Orlando Cabrara, Pedro Martinez, Trot Nixon, but NOT Johnny Damon.

exactly. he was so used to catching him, thats why they got him back. and the crowd loved it.
