i'm ready to upgrade my current cpu... which among the three would you recommend? the t7200 goes for $317,the t7400 for $455 and the t7600 for $685... i've been saving since christmas last year so pretty much i can afford any one of the three.. leaning towards the t7400.. what do you think?

You'd probably get better, more informed replies, av8or, if you described your needs and the current specs of your computer. What will you be doing with your machine? Do you really need the 7600, or would you perhaps be better off spending some of your cash on additional RAM, etc?

thanks for the reply.. specs are in my sig (m1210)... as far as use, very light gamer, basic laptop use (e-mails, dvd decryptions, yadda yadda.... porn "cough" )... will the motherboard be able to support the t7600? and yes i also have enough moolah for a 2 gb ram upgrade (hooray for tax refunds)...also will there be a significant performance increase between the three... say the t7600 against the t7400, or the t7200 against the t7400?

i would say the difference may be noticeable in like cpu intensive apps, only otherwise, for what you listed, you'd be better off the withe 7200
