Advice needed! P2110 or B2630

Hey everyone, I am in the market for a used very small laptop for simple note taking and homework as well as wireless internet use. I was looking at the Fujitsu P2110 or the B2630 as good and cheap solutions to more or less tide me over till I go to Japan this summer. My questions are as follows: Which is better for just general use the P3 (900MHZ ULV 100MHZ FSB 512K) in the B2630 with 256mb RAM. Or the P2110 with its Trans Crusoe 933MHZ ULV 133MHZ FSB and 512mb RAM. Both have 30gig Hdds, the P has a DVD drive which is rather appealing but I just really want to know which has better Batt life and which would be best for my use (and the occasional light game like Transport Tycoon Open version). Thanks for the help everyone

BTW I can get the B for about $300 on ebay refurbed and the P would run me about the same. I would like to purchase soon too.

I would go with the B2620 if you have not decided yet. It has a much faster processor and you will notice the difference. Any thumb drive can replace most of the lost functionality of a cd drive. OTOH, I suspect that the battery life would be better with the P series but a P2110 is very slow. My experience is based on once having a P2110; curently have a B2131, a P5010d and a P1510. I'm kind of a Fujitsu junkie.

I actually ended up getting a B2630. It is working out great, I used a highspeed Lexar CF reader and 1GB card to act as Virtual RAM and added a 60gb 7200RPM HDD, I noticed a huge increase in speed on the computer
