Intel Santa Rosa chipset?

Thread Starter
Hi,

when will the new Santa Rosa (DX 10 ?) chipset be launched by Intel, and does anyone think Dell will be quick off the mark with a new 14" entertainment laptop designed for Santa Rosa and Vista?

I love my 9400, but even with my fantastic overnighter case, it's a real hassle taking it anywhere, so I want to replace with a fully loaded 14" laptop...
thanks

Philip

Unless anyone here works for dell, and in the specific department concerning future products/releases, we have no way of knowing. If we the consumers knew about new upcoming releases from dell, you would know too because they would be everywhere (pple talking about them, commercials, ads etc.).

Santa Rosa is a platform and Merom is the processor of that platform.

Crestline chipset + Kedron wireless + Merom processor = Santa Rosa

It will include Wireless n (more than likely), 800mhz FSB and a few other architecture changes.
