I would suggest the A8js with a 2.0Ghz processor, as you already know many North American own it and love it, the performance is one of the best bang for the buck 14" laptops.

The S96j offers great prices because it is customizable, but the Go 7700 is considerably faster and you will benefit greatly by using that.

Also look into the A8js and find what screen it uses, AUO or CMO, many are reporting that the AUO screen have poor viewing angles, but those who got the CMO screen are getting better screens all round.

Either way you will be happy with either screen, but definitely more happier with a CMO one.

To check install Everest on the laptop and read the manufacturer name and screen name.

Last question sir... What if I have to choose between a Core2 duo T5500 A8JS + 80gb 5400rpm HD + 1GB Ram and a Core2 Duo T7200 S96J + 80gb 7200rpm HD + 2GB Ram Which is faster in games? the S96J configuration is $200 cheaper than the A8JS configuration..sorry when I got my money, these are the only configurations available, the store said that that is the last config for the A8JS.. Thanks for the help sir.

ooh, that's a tough one. The graphics card is still better on the A8Js, which means it will still be better in games, however, the S96J configuration available has more memory and a faster hard drive, which means your games would load faster with the S96J and more memory will help improve the efficiency of your system in general, especially if you will be running Windows Vista.

The A8Js is a good system but more expensive compared to a better equipped S96J.

So it comes down to money vs. performance in the end, I would suggest an S96J.

Thanks..I'll buy the S96J because I'm short in budget, but I think it's still a good buy. If only the distro here have the A8JS, then I can get a fairer price for that..resellers here are selling the A8JS like gold. It's better to buy from the distro.

Also think about the size and portability, do you need a portable laptop like teh A8js? or do you need the nice big screen of the S96J?

Overall gaming experience should be the same, but overall computer experience would be greater with the S96J because of the faster CPU, ram and hard drive.

if only I have the money, i'd get the A8JS and upgrade the specs, i really want a small laptop because my current one is a 14"(Dell 640m)..so I'm used to playing in a small screen..anyway, I think a 15" screen is also ok..I'll get used to it in time. Thanks for the responses, it really helped.
