Will upgrading to Vista invalidate my XP Key?

I was wondering if anyone has used a voucher for Vista from a major computer company (ie Dell, HP, Asus) and upgraded to Vista. Is your XP key still valid? I'm worried about getting the voucher, installing Vista and then regretting it and not being able to switch back to XP. Anyone tried this yet?

Ghost your PC before installing Vista.

In the case of Dell - I can't say for HP etc, your XP key will be fine as you get an OEM disk which will ibe for nstalling your OS onto your computer as long as it is a Dell computer.

I dual boot. I don't lose xp that way. I am doing it with RC2 on my E1705. I am also doing it on my monster desktop. I put it on a separate disk. It automatically dual boots that way.

I vista disk is a vista disk. They all install the same way.
