My 8104 is out of warranty and is dying. The system will randomly not power (light comes on but nothing happens) on or when it does, it will blue screen in windows 100% of the time. The memory seems good. When it doesn't power on, if I jiggle the power connector, it will boot and then bluescreen.

This happened when I first got the laptop and acer replaced the system board and the power connector module.

Does anyone have any clue what acer charges for out of warranty work?

Is it worth sending in?
