Well, I'll help you out, since you don't understand.
Over the last few years, platform hardware performance has not increased NEARLY as much as it had over the previous 10 years. This laptop, hardware wise, has more than sufficient specs to run Vista.
I happen to do this for a living and I've already determined that it is the video driver itself that is causing the issue. With a standard VGA driver, it is running at the speed that I would expect (FAST) but with decreased motion video performance, which isn't too big of a deal at the moment. With the ATI driver loaded, this thing was getting stuck everywhere - it couldn't even complete the performance score in over 4 hours!
I realize that I am here asking for help and I am not in the habit of bashing people who try to help. However, PLEASE have a CLUE about what's going on, unlike ^^ this guy, before you try to give me any advise...oh wait, he didn't give advise, he just said that my computer couldn't run it - how insightful!
If you have Vista, and you have and idea of what video driver would work with the ATI 9600 in my 5860, please point me in the right direction.
