Help me make up my mind on the E1505.

Hey guys, I recently sold my IBM T42, and I was going to purchase a e1505 from a member on the boards.. well I got till about friday/saturday to make up my mind, so I decided to surf the net...
Found the 20% Coupon for dell, so I messed around a bit.. After awhile I configured the E1505 to my likings, the cheapest I got was 1338.86 shipped and taxed. My question is, is this a good price for this laptop with these specs? How future proof is this? Do you think I can wait it out for maybe a 25% or even 30% coupon?(I am computer-less, and will be borrowing a 5 year old laptop that sucks ass until I can get a comp) Will the E1505 be upgraded anytime soon? SHOULD I JUMP THE GUN? lol

Here are the specs.

I do plan on upgrading the ram through newegg, or something... also I'm a broke freshman in college... how important is the warranty in my situation if I can't really spend anymore cash? Also do you guys think the bluetooth is needed? I can't think of anything I use/need currently that utilize the bluetooth... Are there anything else I need to add?
-Thanks alot!!!

Looks good. With the extra RAM you'll be adding it will be pretty future proof for all except newer games. 1yr warranty should be OK... most problems resulting from faulty hardware surface within the first year. Otherwise it mostly comes down to wear, it depends upon how well you take care of it. Bluetooth is useful if you plan on using some bluetooth peripherals such as mouse, keyboard, headphones, mobile phone, PDA, etc... but if you don't see yourself needing those then it is not necessary. In any case you could always add that down the track if you thought you needed it.

The only thing I think I'd do if you really wanna future proof it as you say is upgrade the processor... but then it comes down to a price factor. I think the 2GHz model is more than sufficient for most.
