How do I convince my sister my F4005 is better that this thing she just ordered..

Dell E1705 17" WUXGA
Core2Duo T7200 2GHz
2GB RAM 160GB HDD
Norton 15 Month
Works Suite 2006
13-Month OnCall
9-Cell Battery
4-Year Warranty

easy, just remind her she has a dell, probably the worst notebook besides an old compaq.

I think freshman year of college i made a few thousand dollars fixing dell laptops in the dorms.

Oh great news! Since I'm the family computer guru with 42 years in the IT business I already have to fix all the computers in the family. One sister can't even find the buttons to open the cover of her Dell. My daughter kicked hers so hard the disk crashed and my brother-in-law is 94 years old and near deaf. I'm in trouble...

All the Dell's I have been around, run just fine. It's my Acer that's had 2 HDD failures and a motherboard/CPU replacement. Worst record for all laptops I have owned, and I have owned a bunch.

Take it through all the different benchmarks and see if there really is a difference
Prime95, 3DMark, etc..
