klipsch 2.1 sub replacement

I have the klipsch promedia 2.1 and i want to upgrade the subwoofer. I think that the klipsch sws will work, but 200 for a 100watt 8inch sub seems really expensive. I was wondering if i could use the klipsch rw-12? would i have to buy a receiver or could i just replace my old one with my new one? Are there any subs that will just swap in and out? thanks

$200 ????

Look again - i think its around $99.00 now...it was $200.00 long back

You can get ANY powered sub and use it with the Klipsch...I am sure you can get vastly superior ones for around $200.00

Hmmm...if you replace the sub I am sure you will need an amp/preamp for your satellites.
