Possible IE7 problem?????

Thread Starter
HELLO,
I have a problem with my new laptop E1705. I think the problem is with IE7.
I can click on IE icon and go to my start page but, if I go to My Farvoites
or click on desktop shortcut to get to a webpage the application hangs,
I have to exit and do error report thing. Anyone had this problem or advice?

Thanks, jocktime

Are you saying when you try clicking on desktop and my favorites links going to the internet it hangs and then if you use the start menu and it doesnt? Okay then try updateing the links or icons by deleteing them and then putting them back.

Thanks for the response BossMan, If I right click on my mouse and click on create a shortcut, close out of this webpage, click on new shortcut to this webpage the application hangs and I have to exit and do error report thing.
It happens on any webpage I try it on.
The people at Dell said that IE7 is. Then why do I have the option??
Just doesn't sound right. Thanks jocktime

Try Firefox. I got tired of IE7 closing itself whenever I encountered java applications in webpages.
